Who is SSR, Inc?

The Sunshine Region, National Model Railroad Association, Inc is a non-profit corporation located in Floida operating under the authority granted by the National Model Railroad Association.

What Information Does SSR Collect?

We collect no information about you when you visit our web site.  If you choose to purchase products from SSR that may be periodically offered, instructions on how to order by phone or mail will be provided.  We also do not collect information.

When you come to one of our public events, you will be offered an opportunity to provide us your mailing information to make you aware of future events and activities.

We do not collect information from other parties.

• SSR Does not share information with any other party with the exception of Legal Disclosures.  In the highly unlikely event SSR is required to disclose customer information pursuant to lawful requests, such as subpoenas or court orders, or in compliance with applicable laws, SSR will make such disclosure.

How To Opt Out Of Receiving Further Communications From SSR?

To be removed from any one of the SSR Family mailing lists, please contact us by US mail, at the relevant address listed on the above table.

We will make every effort to implement any choice you make as soon as possible, but you should allow approximately three months for mailing change requests to be fully implemented.

Does SSR Send Unsolicited Promotional E-mails?

No. We do not send any unsolicited emails 

How Does SSR Safeguard the Information Collected?

SSR protects against unauthorized disclosures by limiting access only to those of our members who need the information.  SSR members are trained about their responsibility to protect our customers' privacy. We limit the information we provide to outside companies to only the information we believe is appropriate to enable them to carry out their responsibilities under our contracts.  These companies are limited to mailing companies that handle our mailings. 

Does SSR Use Cookies?

The improper use of cookies and other such technologies has generated much anxiety for consumers. SSR, however, must use cookies for proper operation of this web site.  The cookie you receive is a unique number, different and reassigned each time you visit the web site.  It is only used to identify you during the time you visit the web site.  It is normally deleted when you leave the web site.
